Duo Acts

Several members of the Honey Tongues also perform in duo acts:

Daemon & Airdrie

‘Daemon & Airdrie’ is a ‘ghost pop’ project created by The Honey Tongues’ Marley Daemon and Jesse “Airdrie” Thom. A combination of deep romantic entanglement and the vastness of open space is the perfect description for their music, which combines intensely emotional, interweaving vocal lines with relaxed, minimal beats and sparse instrumentation. Inspired by musicians like Portishead, James Blake, Bjork and Little Dragon, Daemon & Airdrie seek to bring not simply a human touch to the electronic world, but an unprecedented vulnerability and lyrical honesty about the uncontrollable chaos of human relationship.

Betty & The Kid

Betty & the Kid is made up of Honey Tongues members Betty Supple and Aubrey Burke.  Betty & the Kid work hard at playtime and dig deep into the collective psyche. Fusing folk and hip hop with their own freaky, lush, dreamy, wild child styles, they play drums, auto harp, bells, geetar, and fiddle.
